Pastor David Letscher, our interim pastor and his wife,Betty, come to us from Good Shephard Lutheran Church in Windber,PA, where he completed a three year Synodical term call. He was born 2/11/1950 in Altoona,PA. He married, Betty, on 12/31/1999.They are the parents of one son and the grandparents of 1year old Abigale. He graduated from the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg in 2002. Prior to entering the seminary he had a 13 year career in the enviromental field. He enjoys bicycling, cross country skiing and snowmobiling. His call to the word and sacrament ministry is a call to Christian love-to repentance and reconciliation;respect and care for our sisters and brothers in Christ and to live a life that is holy and committed to the gospel.His ministry is filled with responsibilities to God, family,friends,community,self, church,nation, world community and all creation. We welcome Pastor David and his wife, while we proceed through the call process for finding a new minister.
